Moss's Story

I love hiking. I heard somebody say this one time, "a bad day on the trail is better than a good day at work," and that just about sums it up. Well, i also need some good exercise and time away from "normal citizenry," and i am quitting smoking cigarettes to add to the challenge. The shit is big out there.. so i hear, and i am gonna walk right over it. I have two legs and some nice gear.. so why not?!

I did 750 miles of the Appalachian Trail in 2007. I could not do the whole thing because I was in the middle of finishing a feature film that summer, Golden Blade III. So in southern Virginia, I came home, finished the movie, and drove to meet back up with "Team Ninja" in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and hiked with them to Mt. Katahdin. I made some killer friends out there, there was trail magic around every corner, and it was one of the major turning points in my life, and i am expecting the same out of this hike. And to top it off, my ladyfriend is coming with me!

I like to hike - shit's big - unga bunga.

A big shout out to Team Ninja and my AT family - Dogman, Crocket and Doc, Rootdown, Joker, CakeWalk (Tinkerbell), Sizzerz, Born Free (Doc Roger), Tatanka, Spartan, Wreckless, Wild Bill Fukchop, Mate, Coach, Genesis, Kimchi, Corker, Duck Dodger, SnakeCharmer, "and Politician!"
