first zero

here we are in mt. laguna, a tiny national forest town. we have walked at least 43 miles. i can't believe it. today we will eat breakfast at a restaurant and resupply our food and stove fuel at the little store here. this is a zero day. no miles. actually, we will walk out of town to find a camp site this afternoon, so it's a nero.
